Start your PLN. List what you've already developed in this course.
The goals of a Personal/Professional Learning Network are:
- sustained, complex, meaningful professional learning
- create conversations/collaborate
- move from a consumer to a producer of inforomation
- targeted, enjoyable, and embedded in your life.
- flexible (not rigid), adapts to each season and your level of learning.
Explore these ways to find quality resources (try at least 3 of the 6 options) and choose the three places from the lists/ideas that you think were most helpful to you.
Ways to find good learning resources that would help with teaching content or in a lesson...
- Start with Mrs. Poling's livebinder and PLN buidling.... check livebinders home page for a binder on your content areas
- ask virtual friends who teach at: EduPLN
- tweet about it in an organized chat from this list # forum or get a #tag here from cybraryman
- Use the EDUBLOG awards list for finding content/grade level related blogs

- When will you work on it? (15 minutes every other day is a great start)
- How will you find quality ideas, information, sources? (webinar, social media posts, find one great resource stalk/lurk their favs, ...)
- Which of the ideas you've seen seem like a good fit for you?
- How will you give back or produce? (teacher pay teachers, pinning on pinterest, tweeting great stuff, status updates, blog reviews)
- Tools- create a slides.com, prezi, wordle, storybird, flipsnack,
