Choose something to show us that would help ANY educator with lesson delivery, presentation or learning.
- It must be free.
- It must appeal to a wide range of grade levels.
- You will present with a partner
- You will have 10 minutes to present (after a digital citizenship demo on 10/23 or on 10/26
Same guidelines as the AEA presentation:
In Writing, in a blog post or presentation tool that we are linked to: (you likely can't share ALL of this in 10 minutes)
- tell us the purpose of the site and the features
- show us three examples for a use (could be by the teacher, or the students, in class or as an assignment).
- tell us what ages, grades, and content areas can use it.
- if their is a tutorial or helpful handout, link us to it, so we can learn how to use it.
Your presentation should be a slideshow, poster, padlet, comic strip, mindmap, however you can show AND teach us from the sites:
- 10 minutes time.
- state the purpose of this resource and it's scope (or usefulness). List any problems or concerns you discovered.
- showing us the site from your 'expert' point of view.
- giving examples of kid AND teacher use and something that will inspire us to go back.
- pick one kid use to show and let us see what we would do.
- pick a teacher lesson example and show us what she would show/do
- Teach us how...Have us visit the site/app and do something. (a must!)
- Research and find others who use this. Share at least 3 examples of how a real teacher/student uses or used it. (these should be from a search online not all from the tool or sites list.)
